There are 3 major groupings in the French ‘department’.
The French Basic Group is made up of 2 parts: Beginners from 9.45 until 10.30 or 10.45, when we have a break, and Lower Intermediate from 10.45 or 11.00 until 12.15. Beginners are studying the book “Facon de Parler” Book 1 and Lower Intermediate use Book 2. People usually stay for the whole morning and the emphasis is on spoken French with a lot of practice in basic conversation, when we usually talk about our hobbies and what we have been doing recently. The atmosphere is relaxed and we have lots of laughs.
