There are 3 major groupings in the French ‘department’.
From September, the French Basic Group will be made up of 2 parts: Beginners and Intermediate. Where possible, the two groups will be held in separate rooms with two different teachers. Beginners will probably run from 9:45 until 11:00, whilst intermediate will be from 10:00 until 12 noon. Beginners are studying “Facon de Parler” Book 1 and Intermediate “Facon de Parler” Book 2. The intermediate will spend the first hour practising conversing in French with the help of a native French teacher. This will mostly be done by all students introducing different subjects by telling us what they have been doing recently. The atmosphere in both groups is relaxed and we have lots of laughs.
